Hyaluronic Acid

Hyaluronic acid is a gel used as a filler, which has the ability to restore lost volumes, as well as moisturize our skin.

It has the properties of being biocompatible and biodegradable. There are several types of AH:

  • Reticulated: provides greater density, stability and durability so we use it to fill in different areas and for lip shaping, cheekbone augmentation and treatment of dark circles, to combat marionette lines and nasolabial folds.
  • Non-Reticulated: provides the skin with greater hydration, regeneration capacity and elasticity.

Applications: to reduce wrinkles, replace lost volume, restructure facial contour or improve skin quality.

Application area: Lips (contour and volume), dark circles, nasogenian furrow, peribucal or barcode wrinkles, marionette lines, volume in malars, rhinomodelling (nose modelling) and skin hydration.

Sessions: every 6-12 months
Treatment time: 30 minutes
Does it hurt? Very little
Recovery: Immediate
Visibility of improvement: Less tired appearance, less flaccidity.
When to perform: All year round.
Can be combined with all treatments: some not in the same session.
General recommendations: Avoid taking NSAIDs on the day of treatment.
